DeLand Intermodal Transportation Facility Ribbon Cutting Ceremony Mon, Feb 17, 2014
Friday, February 7, 2014…Borrelli + Partners, Inc. celebrated alongside the City of DeLand the opening and ribbon-cutting ceremony of the new DeLand Intermodal transportation Facility. Votran buses will use the transit hub as part of a direct route to the SunRail commuter train station opening in DeBary in May 2014. U.S. Rep John Mica helped secure the funding for this $1.4 million facility and was quoted as saying “This intermodal facility will have a big impact on many lives.”.
The project is approximately 2.3 acres in size and is located in the northeast quadrant of the intersection of Woodland Boulevard and Euclid Avenue, in DeLand, Florida. The project includes a restroom building and a Phase II administration building. Also part of the project is a pedestrian plaza, four covered bus bays and a waiting area parking lot with 30 parking spaces.
