Our design of the City of Miami Beach Judicial Center illustrates vividly how our firm can integrate a new, modern police facility into an established, iconic Art Deco community like South Beach while maintaining the sense of place. Municipally based projects involve constraints that require compliance with various design guidelines, contract provisions and review procedures. These projects generally require coordination of the functional needs of many different users as well as projecting the needs in the future. Borrelli + Partners has successfully navigated through a wide variety of publicly funded municipal projects, creating functionally responsive, cost-effective design solutions. These buildings have been constructed using competitive bidding, construction management and negotiated contracts in accordance with our clients’ directions. These projects have included new and renovated city halls, libraries, community centers, police buildings, and fire stations throughout Florida.
