Hunter Army Airfield Youth Center

As part of a Design-Build team, Borrelli + Partners has been selected by the U.S. Army Engineering & Support Center, Huntsville, AL to design a 22,160 SF Youth Center at Hunter Army Air Field in Savannah, GA. The LEED Gold certified facility accommodates up to 135 children ages 11-18 and is being funded through the American Recovery and Reinvestment Act. Borrelli + Partners’ scope of work include providing full architectural services from schematic design and engineering review to 100% construction document completion and construction administration. The Youth Center consists of a one-story building that has a large teen room with a covered canopy extension for outdoor activities, a 6,664 SF multi-purpose room, equipment storage, four activity rooms, a technology lab, two common/ gathering areas, a culinary/snack bar, three offices, staff lounge, restroom facilities that are ADA compliant and support areas for mechanical, electrical and communications.
