Miami Beach City Hall

The firm was responsible for the programming, architectural design, interior design and landscape design for a new four-story, 85,000 square foot City Hall building. Other services provided included space planning and furnishings selection for all city departmental offices accommodated in the new facility.

The City Hall building was the first of several city facilities built, responding to the government center's master plan to create a functional linkage between governmental and commercial development at Lincoln Road, located to the south of the new building.

The facility was designed to accommodate the following city departments within the new facility: the Building and Inspection Department, Public Works, Planning & Zoning, Purchasing, Legal, Finance, Personnel, Parks and Recreation, City Clerk, Office of The City Manager, offices for each of seven City Commissioners and City Council Chambers with a seating capacity for 300 occupants.
