Orange County New Animal Services Facility

Bacon Group and Borrelli + Partners are currently providing architectural design services for Orange County’s new 121,800 SF Animal Services Facility. Currently, there are three buildings programmed—Enforcement, In-processing and Clinic, and the two-story Adoptions/ Administration. The programmed animal housing capacity is 249 dogs and 212 cats across all housing types and categories. The veterinary clinic is programmed at 10,386 SF with eight surgery tables and full-service capabilities. The design will employ and emphasize Fear Free and WELL Building design techniques to reduce stress for animals and people.
