Pet Alliance of Greater Orlando reveals what’s next for new Animal Shelter!
In 2020, Pet Alliance set out to raise $14-million to build its new home. As of now, they are well over half way to their goal with $9-million in funding already secured. Our Design-Build partner, H.J. High Construction Company and Borrelli + Partners look forward to bringing the rescued animals and our local community a state-of-the-art facility!
Our team is in the final schematic design phase and the project will go to permitting for construction later this year. We plan to break ground on construction in spring 2023 with a scheduled opening of fall 2024.
We are so excited to share a look at PAGO’s future Orlando shelter! This brand new, 25,000 square foot space will allow for:
Enhanced space dedicated to adoption services
Double the medical space to care for ill or injured animals
Disease specific quarantine space for dogs and cats
Modern shelter space with air conditioning for dogs and cats
Specialized housing for long-term dog residents
If you want to help, fellow animal lovers can donate HERE.
