Sonny Fornoles

Sonny Fornoles, AIA is a Senior Associate and Senior Project Manager with over 25 years of experience providing professional architectural design services to various clients. Sonny has project management experience in all phases of programming, conceptual design, construction documents, and construction contract administration. He has the aptitude to manage multiple projects simultaneously and efficiently, while maintaining and developing strong client relations. Since joining Borrelli + Partners in 2018, Sonny’s leadership and knowledge has not only strengthened the firm’s success, but also molded the firm’s collaborative culture and inspired the next generation of designers.

Serving most recently as the Architect-of-Record on both the Brightline Train Station at the Intermodal Terminal Facility and the 185,000 square-foot, Brightline Vehicle Maintenance Facility at the Orlando International Airport, Sonny is well versed in designing large, complex projects while managing multiple consultants, team structures, and client relations. His proactive approach to project management helped with successful community projects such as the City of Orlando Grand Avenue Neighborhood Center along with the Orlando Tennis Centre.

Sonny received his Master of Arts in Architecture from the University of Hawaii in 2001 and his Bachelor of Design in Architecture from the University of Florida in 1996. Sonny is also a member of the American Institute of Architects.
