The Fleet Maintenance portion of the building also included an overhead crane for the ability to remove truck booms for replacement. The operations portion of the building is dedicated to maintaining the power grid throughout Sumter County. The structure of the facility is a metal building surrounded on all sides with a twelve foot exterior CMU wall with the remainder as metal siding.  The project also included site developments and improvements on the 29 acre site to facilitate the entire function of the building. Parking for 30 vehicles and storm water ponds were developed as part of this project as well.
